The old me...

It always wells me up inside whenever I think about how grateful I am that I found this little secret.

I refer to it as my little secret because if anyone found out you don’t have to work out for over an hour a day, or fast, or munch on nothing but celery sticks, the fitness and diet companies would go out of business, fast!

Everytime I look in the mirror I still can’t believe it’s me looking back. Friends and family I haven’t seen recently always have to do a double-take when they see me.

The BEST thing is how much more confident I am, especially when going shopping for a new outfit which I avoided like the plague before. The icing of the cake however is how much closer my husband and I are now!

It was no surprise when I got the results from my annual doctors checkup. My heart was strong and healthy, my blood sugar levels which were previously a concern where now also at a healthy level.

What I’m AMAZED by is that I didn’t have to fast, go on some crazy diet starving myself, or even cut out myfavorite foods and snacks.

The craziest thing, it turns out it had nothing to do with why I’d kept gaining and keeping the weight on in the first place!

It had nothing to do with the amount of painstaking exercise I did, or how much sugar I was eating.

It all makes sense, no wonder for years and years I struggled to get my weight down. The fitness and diet industry were feeding me these lies to keep me in this never ending cycle!

I can’t put into words how depressing it was to try every method possible for years only to end up where I started, or worse than my original weight.
